Hockey Director |
| General Responsibilities: |
Coordinate all aspects of the
W.C.C hockey program to ensure a positive experience for children and
volunteers. |
| Specific Responsibilities: |
- Recruit and select members of the Hockey Committee.
- Attend RHCC Board meetings and report on the progress of the hockey
program and any issues requiring the attention of the board.
- Represent the RHCC at all APHA meetings to present RHCC issues, and
report any relevant developments to the RHCC board and other RHCC
volunteers.
- Prepare the annual budget for the hockey program and set the
registration fees.
- Approve the selection of all coaches.
- Represent the RHCC at meetings with the APHA clubs to set the team
amalgamation plans for the current season.
- Chair meetings of the hockey committee.
- Prepare an annual calendar of activities for the Hockey Program.
- Approve any player transfers.
- Present revisions to the Hockey Handbook to the RHCC Board for
approval.
- Remain open to all parents and volunteers, and resolve any issues
referred to him/her by members of the Hockey Committee.

| Specific Responsibilities: |
- Secure Initiation Program Instructors.
- Determine # of teams & schedule.
- Recruit coaches.
- Recruit age conveners.
- Coordinate team selection.
- Set outdoor practice times.
- Distribute equipment.

Equipment Manager |
| General Responsibilities: |
Manage the purchase, storage, distribution, and retrieval of
W.C.C. Hockey equipment. |
| Specific Responsibilities: |
- Determine equipment requirements (uniforms, goalie equipment, misc.)
- Maintain stock records.
- Recommend purchase of new equipment.
- Distribute to traveling teams & house league.
- Collect deposits (at registration and if required)
- Refund deposits (to coaches and if required)
- Take stock and arrange cleaning at end of season.

Hockey Handbook Convenor |
| General Responsibilities: |
Prepare the Hockey Handbook each year. |
| Specific Responsibilities: |
- Make revisions to administrative information each year as required.
- Meet with Hockey Committee to prepare draft.
- Make recommendations for changes to policy if required.
- Submit to Hockey Committee for approval.
- Incorporate policy changes as directed by the Hockey Committee.
- Ensure that books are printed and distributed to members of the
Hockey Committee and updated on Westdale C.C.'s website.

Ice Manager |
| General Responsibilities: |
With help from the hockey conveners, manage the acquisition
and allocation of all indoor and outdoor ice for the W.C.C. hockey
program. |
| Specific Responsibilities: |
- Recommend the purchase of extra ice as required.
- Advise Team Selection Convener of ice times for try-outs.
- Arrange changes to ice times as required as circumstances arise.

| General Responsibilities: |
Manage the try-out process. |
| Specific Responsibilities: |
- Determine # of players per team, in consultation with the other
clubs being amalgamated.
- Organize on ice personnel.
- Recruit & select evaluators.
- Recruit and select age group conveners.
- Advise players of camps.
- Distribute pinnies to players and retrieve (for tryouts)
- Distribute selection information letter to parents & players.
- Ensure that age conveners advise all players where they are placed
(all called the same day if possible).
Note: Number of teams, how amalgamated, and where hosted will be
advised by the Hockey Director.

| General Responsibilities: |

| Specific Responsibilities: |
- Record minutes of all committee meetings.
- Report on registration.
- Assist W.C.C. staff with any problems with registration.
- Assist the director in preparation of the budget and review of
monthly statements.
- Special duties as assigned by the Hockey Director.
- Record receipts and disbursements from the hockey program account.
- Make recommendations to the Hockey Committee on the matters of
financial management.

- Recruit coaches.
- Interview.
- Recommend coaches to the Hockey Director.

Associate Hockey Director |
| General Responsibilities: |
Assist the Hockey Director in all aspects and to organize
fund raising activities. |
| Specific Responsibilities: |
- Organize the running of Rob-West Conditioning Camp from Westdale
C.C.'s side.
- Organize the year end Coaches Appreciation Social in conjunction
with Roblin Park Community Centre.
- Coordinate activities on Rob-West Fall Classic Tournaments.
- Act on behalf of the Hockey Director when required.

Rob-West Fall Classic Tournament Convener |
| General Responsibilities: |
Coordinate with the counterpart from Roblin Park C.C. the
running of the Rob-West Fall Classic Tournament. |
| Specific Responsibilities: |
- Establish committee to run the tournament.
- Book ice for the tournament.
- Solicit teams for tournament.
- Establish budget and entry fees.
- Prepare program of team names, etc.
- Secure advertising and major sponsors.
- Purchase trophies and "give aways".
- Prepare overall plan on the above for the approval of the Hockey
Committee.

Rob-West Conditioning Camp Convener |
| General Responsibilities: |
Coordinate with counter part from Roblin Park C.C. the
overall running of the camp. |
| Specific Responsibilities: |
- Establish the committee to work on the camp.
- Send out registration forms and solicit participators and secure
payments.
- Book ice.
- Divide players into groups.
- Select instructors and prepare format and drill outline.
- Advise participants of times.
- Prepare, distribute and return to the Hockey Director feedback
questionnaire.
- Make recommendations on the running of the camp for the following
year.
