The Board of Westdale Community Centre has passed a motion to obtain a Commitment Fee from all families registering for hockey beginning with the 2006/2007 season.  The Commitment Fee is $50.00 per family to be paid in cash or by post-dated cheque (dated the 30th day of June of the following year) at the time of registration.  The Westdale Community Centre requires that at least one member of each family registering for hockey out of the club, commit 4 hours of volunteer time at an event or activity run by the Community Centre, or towards the general maintenance and operations of the club.  Sign up sheets for volunteers will be available at hockey registration and will be coordinated through Westdale's Volunteer Coordinator.  The Commitment fee will be voided or returned upon completion of your family's 4 hour volunteer commitment.  In order to ensure that the Community Centre and its services continue to be available to the residents of Charleswood, it is integral that the club be maintained by volunteers.  Thank you for your consideration.
